Die Wächterin der Drei Bünde

I’m excited to present my latest mural on the Mühleturm in Chur. This approximately 900m² artwork took shape over two months, and we faced quite a few challenges with wind and weather along the way. The journey was incredible, and I can honestly say that this workplace is one of the best in the world.

The new mural on the Mühleturm tells a story that captures both the historical depth and future perspectives of the canton of Graubünden. At its center stands a guardian, whose three glowing lights symbolize the Three Leagues that formed the canton 500 years ago. These lights represent hope and the strength of community that has guided the canton for centuries. The blindfold worn by the guardian symbolizes trust – trust in the future, in our collective strength, and in the uniqueness of our community. The corn processed in this silo adds an extra symbol, representing the immigrants who have played an essential role in the development and growth of our canton for 500 years.
