BANE created “JOYAU” for a school for children with cognitive disabilities in Bergerac. The title means “jewel” and reflects the belief that every person has intrinsic value.

This work challenges hasty judgments about others' abilities. It encourages us to question our own perspectives and get to know people before we categorize them.
