Der Plessurfischer

The mural by Fabian Florin, known as BANE, was created as part of the Chur Street Art Festival, which is now called the WAND Festival. It depicts Fredy, a fisherman from Chur. He could often be found further upstream on the Plessur River and became known as the “Plessur fisherman.”

BANE photographed him as a model for the large-format portrait. On the wall next to the river, a local encounter becomes part of the public space.
